About Tigist
My name is Tigist Ketema and I am the Founder and CEO of Tigist Petites. The idea for the brand came from a clear gap I noticed as both a consumer and a professional: petite women were not being considered when it came to high-quality, polished workwear. At five feet tall, I found that most options left me choosing between oversized silhouettes or casual pieces that weren’t built for the boardroom.
Rather than accept that limitation, I saw an opportunity to create something better.
In speaking with other women under 5’4” who shared similar challenges, I realized there was a powerful, underserved audience that deserved more. I spent over two years in research and development, refining the fit, fabric, and details to meet the standards of women who expect excellence. The result is the Tigist Petites signature collection: three distinct dress styles — Aiden, Sara, and Gene — designed to fit beautifully, move effortlessly, and speak volumes without saying a word.
